The Vendée Globe is present from this morning at the Paris Boat show, Porte de Versailles in Paris. Round tables are organised each day at the Vendée stand, Hall 1 stand R81, from Saturday 1st to Sunday 9th December 2007.
These round tables are open to the general public and concern themes directly linked to the race. Many skippers, designers and journalists will be attending or be on a phone link-up. There will be daily radio sessions as follows:

Round table programme:

- Saturday 1st December, from 16 to 17 h : Life at sea, how the race is lived each day with the skippers Jean Luc Van den Heede and Patrice Carpentier

- Sunday 2nd December, from 17 to 18 h : Health with Dr. Jean-Yves Chauve and the skipper Karen Leibovici

- Monday 3rd December, from 17 to 18 h : The technological progress in the boats with the designers Jean-Marie Finot and Juan Kouyoumdjian, and the skipper Jean Le Cam

- Thursday 6th December, from 17 to 18 h : The media and the Vendée Globe with Pierre-Louis Castelli from France Inter, Martin Tzara from TF1, and Stéphane Barbé from l´Equipe

- Friday 7th December, from 18 to 19 h : Sponsoring with Joël Renault, CEO of Delta Dore, Guillaume Jouët, Director of Communications for the Bel Group, and François Garreau, Head of external communications for the Generali Group

- Saturday 8th December, from 15 to 16h : Safety with the skippers Alain Gautier and Raphaël Dinelli, as well as Sylvain Mondon and Richard Silvani from Météo France

- Sunday 9th December, from 15 to 16h : The Vendée Globe, a team for a single-handed yachtsman with Marc Lefèvre, head of the V1D2 yard in Caen, Michel Olivier, Head of the VM Matériaux project, Thierry Brault, Head of the Safran Sailing Team project.
