Philippe de Villiers, President of the SEM Vendée, officially announced yesterday evening during the 2008-2009 Vendée Globe prize-giving ceremony that the next edition of the Vendée Globe will start in Les Sables d'Olonne at 13h02 (local time) on Sunday 21st October 2012!
