Philippe Rey-Gorrez, President of the TeamWork company is now a well known contributor to the world of sailing thanks to his involvement in the Mini class. In the race which just finished in Pointe-à-Pître, TeamWork was in fact partner to two boats: Justine Mettraux’s Nacira n°824 (2nd in the series boats and first woman) and Bertrand Delesne’s Mini n°754, fourth in the prototypes.

Following on from these excellent results the head of the Team Work company has revealed that his ambitions in the world of sailing may well be shifting towards the non-stop solo race around the world. Philippe Rey-Gorrez declared, “We shall be aiming to have a TeamWork boat compete in the 2020 Vendée Globe. This is a long term goal, which gives us time to set up the projects to get to that objective. We shall probably have to think about a joint partnership, as this is of course a huge project…”
