Thomson needs shaving advice

Alex Thomson has decided to shave his beard on HUGO BOSS and he is asking for his Facebook fans' advice. The British skipper would like his supporters to choose from one of the three styles he is considering. You can help him make up his mind here.

Alex, I agree with several of the posters, let it grow and be warm in the Southern Ocean. You are doing great and it is good to see your smile in the pictures. I think we should look at beard styles as you are preparing to finish. That will be a great time to celebrate. For now, keep up the great sailing, go fast and enjoy this great adventure you are having.

A full set is the only option for a sailor. Let it grow naturally but if it causes wind drag then by all means off it comes. We need you to get back into the leading two or three position so if necessary a smooth face will improve your aerodynamics. Keep up the good work Alex, and keep safe.

I think it suits you Great to see you on TV this morning I am glad to see some coverage as I put a complaint in a week ago last Saturday as they were making fun about how Sam was upset on her coverage after she was dismasted (It is OK for footballers who earn vast amounts of money to cry when they miss a penalty but not when people like you Mike and Sam who sails all around the world single handed) Keep Safe Bridget Horseman

Do what you want. I had sported a beard a couple of years ago and in cold weather it sure makes things more warm.
