The French sailor, current leader of the round the world single-handed race, nonstop and unassisted, establishes a new reference time between Les Sables d'Olonne and the Cape of Good Hope with 22d 23h 48 '; and clears the 24d 02h 18' of Vincent Riou in 2004. As a reminder, four years ago, Sébastien Josse (onboard BT), had crossed the Cape of Good Hope in 26d 19h 38 '.
