1) Vendée department area
A real mine of information, this area set up by the Vendée department is the place where you can find out more about the 2016-2017 Vendée Globe. Discover in a highly innovative and interactive way everything about the race and the preparations, the skippers, but also about their environment and way of life. Large format photos, videos, optical theatres, unseen videos, sailing simulators… Special events and displays will be set up to help you understand this eighth edition with the use of new technologies.
2) Partners and Exhibitors’ area
You can find exhibitors from Vendée and the race partners here. They will present their work and their commitment to the Vendée Globe. You can also find here the official shop selling Vendée Globe products.
3) Bar/Restaurant – VoG’
The “VOG,” the emblematic Vendée Globe bar and restaurant will once again be a place where people can enjoy themselves together. On the programme: shows, round tables, autograph signings, concerts, DJ Sets… Don’t miss the special evenings, concerts and DJ events at the VoG’ bar. Open every day from 10 to 7 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and from 10 to 2 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday.

LE VENDÉE LIVE
Every day from 12-12.30 in French with the English language version at 1 p.m presented by Andy Robertson and Will Carson.
Until 29th January, news commentary of the race and analysis in the presence of studio guests, sailors contacted out at sea live by satellite.
You can view all these programmes on our WebTV and also on certain sports TV channels (BFM TV and Sport+).
You can also keep up with the latest info about the race:
- Audio link-ups at 10 a.m (for the public of les Sables d’Olonne).
- Vendée Flash in French at 6 p.m (3min bulletin)
This area will also be used for press conferences when the skippers finish.
6) The Podium
To welcome each skipper after he completes the round the world voyage, a podium will be set up outside to allow the audience to applaud their achievement.
7) Ecran Géant
View or watch again some of the legendary films of the race as well as the weekly shows and special broadcasts throughout the day.
You can also watch the winner arriving live from the finishing line to the pontoon.
