Slightly better behaviour

We can hardly talk about clement conditions, but they are much better than they were.
A small low has caught the rear of the fleet with winds of 25/35 knots and the risk of facing headwinds.
Steve White is likely to find it hard to climb back northwards after New Zealand, as NE'ly flow is appearing in the area, which could handicap him in his move northwards to get by the next gates.
In the middle of the fleet, from Akena to Paprec, they are getting around a ridge of high pressure with winds going from SW'ly to a moderate northerly.

At the front of the fleet, a NW'ly wind is set to allow the two leaders to increase their lead in the coming hours, as those chasing after them will have a more lifting wind (westerly for the moment) and will not be able to head straight for the gate.
