Sébastien Destremau to pick up some wind
Sébastien Destremau, the final skipper racing in the 8th Vendée Globe was sailing this morning at the latitude of Morocco to the north of the centre of a high in very light winds (less than 2 knots). Fortunately, the wind is set to strengthen during the day to reach 20-25 knots this evening. Tomorrow evening (Saturday), TechnoFirst-faceOcean should be to the NW of the Azores in a 35-40 knot SW’ly wind. After a small transition zone on Sunday, the wind will return on Monday to accompany Sébastien all the way to les Sables d'Olonne, where he is expected on around 10th March.
