Born in Morlaix, Nicolas Troussel grew up by the sea. He discovered sailing during cruises in the Scilly Islands. Twice winner of the Solitaire du Figaro (2006 and 2008), he made a reputation for himself thanks to daring strategic moves that are now known as "doing a Troussel". Nicolas is a man of conviction and a fine strategist! In 2018, he became the official skipper of CORUM L'Épargne, which built him a latest generation IMOCA. Launched in May 2020, he will take her to the Vendée Globe 2024.
