Light trade winds with a few squalls

We see on the satellite picture that there is a lot of cloud activity to the east of the route taken by Banque Populaire VIII and Hugo Boss. The trade winds are rather light with a lot of active clouds.

Jérémie Beyou has entered the Doldrums while Jean Pierre Dick seems to have chosen a western route to avoid the light winds.

A depression will be positioned in the south-east of Cape Horn tomorrow morning, for Eric Bellion and Conrad Colman as they round the cape. The Southwesterly winds could exceed 40 knots for the 8th and 9th boat to round the Horn.

Behind, the Pacific high pressure system is still well positioned. It leaves a small corridor of wind to its south and is blocking the depressions.
