Leaving from La Trinité sur Mer, Marc Guillemot took Loic Lingois, Alex Marmorat, Philippe Moullier and painter Gildas Flahault with him on board for this boat delivery.

Up north, Bertrand de Broc left Sainte Marine for a southeast-bound navigation but he is also putting the finishing touch to his budget. On the other side of Brittany, Louis Burton left Saint-Malo on Bureau Vallée and he will have to go full throttle to reach Vendée on time.

Those three skippers join Samantha Davies who started her Sables d’Olonne-bound delivery on Wednesday evening and is expected at her destination on Thursday night.

There is a yachtsman who is in great need of extra time. Zbigniew Gutkowski is still in Gosport and is required to make it to Les Sables by Friday evening at 7PM or he will have to pay a fine. Sailing will definitely be tough for him but the weather conditions are much more favourable than they were earlier in the week.

Four other IMOCA yachts and their respective skippers are still moored in their home ports and are about to leave. They are Jean-Pierre Dick on Virbac Paprec, François Gabart on Macif who should leave later on Thursday, Jean Le Cam on SynerCiel, scheduled to sail on Friday  and Dominique Wavre on Mirabaud, who only has a few dozen miles to cover from La Rochelle to Les Sables.
