Hyundai, official supplier of the Vendée Globe until 2029

Hyundai, distributed locally by Océane Automobiles, is extending its commitment to the Vendée Globe by becoming an Official Supplier until 2029.

Having successfully supported the Vendée Arctique – Les Sables d’Olonne 2026, the first solo qualifying race for the next Vendée Globe, Hyundai will also be a partner of the New York Vendée – Les Sables d’Olonne 2028 and the Vendée Globe 2028.

As a long-standing partner of the round-the-world race, Hyundai is supporting SAEM Vendée, the organiser of these races, by providing a fleet of hybrid, electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles that combine performance, innovation and environmental responsibility. This long-term partnership reflects a shared ambition: to promote excellence and sustainability, both at sea and on the roads, in support of a sporting and human adventure on a global scale.

Hyundai and Océane Automobiles are also supporting skipper Manuel Cousin, who aims to compete in the next Vendée Globe.
