A new IMOCA for 2028 for Yoann Richomme, sponsored by Paprec

The Paprec Group announced this Thursday, June 5, that it will take the helm of an IMOCA project for the Vendée Globe 2028, with the construction of a new boat for skipper Yoann Richomme, who finished second in the Vendée Globe 2024.

This new project is part of a long-term commitment to ocean racing for the Paprec Group, after eight years of co-partnership with Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, highlighted by two Vendée Globe participations.

Designed by Antoine Koch / GSEA / Finot-Conq, the future IMOCA will be built at Multiplast in Brittany and should be launched in the first trimester of 2027.

The objective is clearly stated: the team is aiming for victory in 2028!

We're going to build a boat that can push the limits even further.
