Sam Goodchild won the first edition of the Course des Caps

Ninth in the last Vendée Globe, British sailor Sam Goodchild won the first edition of the Course des Caps with a crew this weekend. He was at the helm of the IMOCA MACIF Santé Prévoyance, replacing Charlie Dalin, who had to withdraw for health reasons. He was accompanied by Loïs Berrehar, future skipper of Banque Populaire, Charlotte Yven, skipper of the MACIF Figaro (10m one-design boat competing in the Solitaire du Figaro) and Guillaume Combescure from the MACIF team.
