SkipperGilou wins the first leg of the Vendée Globe eSeries

Already the winner of the 2024 Virtual Vendée Globe, SkipperGilou confirmed his dominance by taking victory in the opening leg of the Vendée Globe eSeries, the 2026 Atlantic eSeries. After an intense battle across the Atlantic, he crossed the finish line at the Cape of Good Hope just 30 seconds ahead of Italy’s MC kele. Canard secured third place, finishing three minutes behind the winner.

I had to compete in this race; I was aiming for a top-10 finish to qualify for the 2028 e-skippers, but winning this first leg makes the story even better.
