Oliver Heer unveils his IMOCA Embrace The Challenge

Launched in its new colours and now renamed Embrace The Challenge, the former IMOCA Teamwork-Team Snef is embarking on a new chapter with Swiss sailor Oliver Heer.

Having completed his first Vendée Globe in 2024, Oliver Heer is embarking on a new chapter with this IMOCA, launched in 2018 and skippered by Justine Mettraux in the last edition, where she took a remarkable 8th place. The Swiss skipper is now building this new project with the 2028 Vendée Globe in his sights.

Named Embrace The Challenge, the project reflects the Swiss sailor’s approach: facing up to difficulties, adapting and moving forward. The boat’s new livery, meanwhile, is inspired by the weather charts and pressure lines that accompany sailors across the world’s oceans.
