Sam Goodchild, 2025 IMOCA Globe Series Champion

Thanks to his consistency, Sam Goodchild, the British skipper now racing for MACIF Santé Prévoyance - 9th in the 2024 Vendée Globe - finishes the season well ahead at the top of the 2025 IMOCA Globe Series with 383.75 points, nearly 29 points ahead of his closest rival, Jérémie Beyou (355 points), winner of the Transat Café L’OR. In third place is Swiss sailor Justine Mettraux with 319.50 points. The presence of two international skippers and a woman in the top three perfectly illustrates the growing internationalisation and feminisation of the circuit!
