MACSF and Corentin Horeau head for the Vendée Globe 2028

Having taken part in the 2016, 2020 and 2024 editions of the Vendée Globe, MACSF is once again setting its sights on the 2028 edition with skipper Corentin Horeau, at the helm of a 2024 generation IMOCA: Yoann Richomme's IMOCA, 2nd in the last Vendée Globe.

From the 2025 season, Corentin Horeau will be co-skipper with Yoann Richomme, notably in the Transat Café l'Or, which they will race under the colours of Paprec Arkéa, before the boat switches to the MACSF colours in 2026.

Doing the Vendée Globe is one of my big dreams and I'm very happy to be joining the Voile MACSF team to achieve this goal. I really feel ready for this adventure. Thanks to this 2025 season as co-skipper on the future IMOCA MACSF, I'm going to gain in experience and mastery of the boat. I'm convinced that I can achieve some great races.
