Stuck in Le Havre since Sunday 29th October due to the storms Ciaran and Domingos, the IMOCA will (finally) be able to set off on the Transat Jacques Vabre!

On Tuesday 7 November at 9:30 am, the Vendée Globe skippers and their co-skippers will get underway. The 40 IMOCA will leave the Paul Vatine dock at 4am to pass through the locks in the port of Le Havre before reaching the start area.

Their 3750-mile course will take them past the island of Santa Maria (Azores) on their starboard side before heading for Martinique. The first boats are expected to arrive in Fort-de-France around 16/17 November.
