"The most emotional moment in the Vendée Globe is the start, it feels like you're sailing directly through the crowd, it gives me goosebumps, you can even see poeple watchig from their windows. Another movig moment is when everybody leaves the boat, 4 minutesbefore the start."

Hedonism
"I took three small bottles of Château Angelus wine. I'll drink them at Cape Horn and the Equator."

Official goal
"My goal is to finish on the podium. My rigging is aguably the best in the fleet, along with Jean-Pierre Dick's."
